A unique profile of British pop superstar Robbie Williams
The film was born from a series of interviews that director Michael Gracey conducted with Robbie Williams over a year and a half at Williams’ recording studio in Los Angeles, United States. Although the interviews were not originally intended for the film, as Gracey “just wanted to capture [Williams] in his own voice, telling his own story,” most of Williams’ voiceover for the film comes from these recordings.
So full of life

Undeveloped, raw Robbie doing it his own way
The monkey actually made a lot of sense, and it made the connection between us and Robbie much easier to understand. The movie is full of production value, life lessons, amazing, and let me repeat, AMAZING music and dancing.
Now for the monkey, the best part!
It made the story more relatable for some reason I can’t quite explain. I didn’t feel like I was watching a monkey, but I definitely was watching Robbie Williams.
What a great production
I think the entire team should give themselves a pat on the back. I really can’t wait for more movies like this.
