Like a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, housing for workers (man camps), assemble earthmoving equipment, and drill the well itself, especially in remote locations. They are also part repairman, problem solver, and facilitator.
He hits home run after home run, and Landman is no different
I have to start by saying that I am a huge fan of almost everything Taylor Sheridan (Yellowstone, The Mayor of Kingstown, 1923, 1883, Tulsa King, Lion, Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River, etc. etc.).
This is another hit for Sheridan
Landman is set in modern day Texas, where everyone from billionaires to roughnecks are trying to get rich in the oil industry. This series follows Tommy Norris (Billy Bob Thornton) as he tries to take his company to the top during the oil boom.
I recommend it to anyone looking for a good new series, especially if you are a Taylor Sheridan fan
